Introduction: Central Library

The Golden Jubilee Memorial Central Library is located in the main campus on four floors with a total area of 1517.04 Sq.m. An extension of the Central library is functioning in the MCA block. Nirmala College Central Library offers students an excellent selection of books, journals and magazines on all subjects and Internet facilities. Hardbound volumes of the back issues of the leading journals and magazines are also available. The Central Library has a collection of over 75000 volumes. The Library subscribes to various journals and magazines both national and international.

Library Timings

The Central library is kept open on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m and the working hours are fixed from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. On all Saturdays except Second Saturdays and during vacation, the working hours are fixed from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm

Inflibnet  E-Resources Facility

Nirmala college is registered for the N-LIST programme, which is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the National Mission on Education through ICT. The N-LIST project provides access to e-resources to students, researchers and faculty from colleges. The authorized users from college can access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website once they are duly authenticated as authorized users through servers deployed at the INFLIBNET Centre.

DELNET

DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. DELNET has launched a new discovery portal for member libraries. Through this portal users can access Research Articles,e-books,e-journals, Thesis, Books and millions of bibliographic records.
