Research

The Nanoscience Research Centre at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, established in 2011, focuses on advancing research in material science and nanotechnology, particularly in fields like fuel cells, supercapacitors, and solar cells. With a mission to expedite the development and adoption of clean and sustainable energy technologies, the center actively engages in research and offers internships to both postgraduate and undergraduate students. Supported by funding from governmental agencies like UGC New Delhi and KSCSTE Trivandrum, the NSRC has already produced eight Ph.D. scholars and boasts a significant record of more than hundred publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Currently four scholars are pursuing their research work leading to doctoral degree.
