Nirmala College celebrates World Environment Day
In connection with the World Environment Day celebrations, Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha organised a talk on 9th June 2023, spreading awareness on the need to preserve the environment. The chief guest of the programme Sri. G. Jayachandran (Wildlife Warden, Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary) delivered a thought provoking talk on “Environment issues in Kerala with Specific Reference to man-wild Conflict”. The programme was conducted by the Postgraduate and Research Department of Zoology, in collaboration with Nature Club and Birds Club International. The Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Thomas K. V presided over the function. Prof. A.J Emmanuel and Rev. Dr. Justin Kannadan felicitated the gathering. Dr. Gigi K Joseph and Ms. Anju B. Kanjirakkattu coordinated the programme.
