Alongside core physics subjects, students engage in specialized courses such as Numerical Methods for Computational Physics, Computational Physics (Python), and Essential Machine Learning for Physicists. B.Sc. Honours in Physics Physics program provides specialised courses related to C++, python programming, Introduction to AI and machine learning, computational methods, Nanoscience, Astrophysics along with conventional courses in physics
The program integrates core physics with industry-focused electives like Micropython programming, robotics, IoT, and advanced power systems, inculcating expertise in emerging fields. Hands-on skill enhancement courses, including PCB design, 3D printing, Mobile App development, and Solar energy system, enhance graduates' skill and employability. Additional career guidance and add-on courses from industry experts further refine graduates into highly skilled professionals.
At Nirmala College, the theoretical research division is dedicated to advancing the modeling and design of high-efficiency photovoltaic devices through the use of top-tier simulation packages and infrastructure. The division has a strong publication record in reputable journals and is currently in the process of patenting a new software for simulating solar cell function at different levels.
