The Department of Management Studies (DMS) has been Developing Managers for the Society since 2012. Being the first Management programme of the College, it has set the tone for management education in this part of the country and has carved out a niche for itself. Today DMS offers MAHRM a new-age Postgraduate specialization in HR Analytics.
The faculty members in DMS are a heterogenous mix of unique skill sets, knowledge base and industry-relevant expertise. Many of them have industry work experience that helps to bridge the theory-practice gap in management education. Our faculty team volunteers to coordinate different activities of the department with student teams. Campus placements, Industry relations, Alumni relations, Management Fest, Conferences are just a sample among the many vibrant activities.
MA HRM program equips you with specialized knowledge and skills specifically tailored for managing human resources within organizations. This includes areas such as recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and strategic HR planning. Pursuing a master's degree can be personally fulfilling and intellectually stimulating. It allows you to delve deeper into topics that interest you within the field of HRM and develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Department of Management Studies of Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha in association with NIPM Kerala Chapter has inaugurated Two Day HR Conference 2024 on 27th & 28th February 2024. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Joy Alukkas , MD and chairman of Joy Alukkas Group in the esteemed presence of Ms. Parveen Haffez, MD of Sunrise Group of Hospitals, Mr. Mathew Joseph, COO Of Fresh to Home and Mr. Johnson Mathew, Chairman of NIPM Kerala Chapter.
