Collegiate Student Grievance Redressal Committee (CSGRC)
The Collegiate Student Grievance Redressal Committee (CSGRC) has been constituted as per
University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievance of Students) Regulations, 2023 for
handling and solving the grievance to promote and maintain a sustainable, unbiased and
positive educational environment in the campus. The students can state their grievance
regarding any academic and non- academic matter within the campus through the online
and grievance/ suggestion box. The CSGRC aims at solving the grievances of the students
within stipulated time.

Objectives
The CSGRC has been established to address issues raised by students of the college, with the
following objectives.

  • Preserving the dignity of the College by fostering a harmonious atmosphere through
    promoting positive relationships among students and between students and
    teachers.
  •  Encouraging students to voice their grievances openly and without fear of reprisal.
  •  Guiding students to uphold mutual respect and dignity, urging them to exercise
    patience and restraint during conflicts.
  •  Discouraging students from instigating discord against peers, faculty, or college
    administration
  •  Instructing all staff members to treat students with warmth and refrain from
    displaying vindictive behaviour towards any individual.
    Scope
    The CSGRC will deal with Grievances received from the students about any of
    the following matters Grievance related to Admission
  •  Grievances that are Academic in nature
  • Grievance related to Amenities & Services
  • Grievance related to stay at hostel
  •  Grievance related to finance
  • Grievance related to student conflicts other than ragging
  •  Harassment by fellow students or faculty/ staff etc.
  •  Grievances of alleged discrimination
  •  Others.

Procedure for lodging complaint

  •  The students can lodge their grievance through online mechanism.
  • The students may feel free to drop the writing (can be anonymous if required) in the grievance/ suggestion box.
  • The students can directly approach CSGRC members.

Mechanism of the Committee

  • Confidentiality
  •  Post receipt of the complaint/application, the committee will decide on the merit of case
    regarding scope of further discussion investigation and act promptly.
  • CSGRC shall consider redressing of grievances within a reasonable time.
  • The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and seek guidance from
    the higher authorities if required.
