Through hands-on experiments and simulations, participants dive into these dynamic fields. By workshop's end, they'll craft their own hobby circuits and projects, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and learning.

The Department of Physics at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, organized a two-day summer workshop titled Physics Odyssey on April 8-9, 2024. The workshop aimed to provide higher secondary students with an immersive and engaging experience to explore various fascinating concepts in physics.

On January 15, 2023, Department of physics organized a  programme  Navigating the Digital Frontier was organized in collaboration with the Digital University of Kerala. The programme aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape and leverage digital technologies for personal and professional growth.

The Department of Physics at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, organized a seminar on An Overview of Quantum Physics on January 5, 2024 by Fr. Joseph Mathew. The seminar aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of quantum physics.

The Department of Physics at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, organized a festive event titled Santa Delight on December 20, 2023. The event featured a Christmas stall showcasing crafts made by students of the Department of Physics, providing an opportunity for creative expression and community engagement.

The Department of Physics inaugurated its departmental activities association, Aaveg on November 9, 2023 by Dr. Manesh Michael, Department of Physics, Bharatha Matha College. The event aimed to foster a sense of community among students and faculty and provide a platform for academic and extracurricular engagement within the department.

The Department of Physics at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, organized the Explore the Cosmos, sky watch programme on October 18, 2023. The event aimed to promote astronomy awareness and provide participants with an opportunity to observe different celestial objects such as the Moon, Planets and stars.

The Department of Physics at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, organized a one-day workshop on energy audit on October 17, 2024 by Dr. George James T, Retired Professor from the Department of Physics, Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha . The workshop aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of energy auditing practices among students, faculty, and professionals.

On August 10, 2023, the Department of Physics Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, organized a programme titled Mastering Physics: The Art of Learning by Dr. Rajeshmon V G, Department of Physics, St. Paul's College, Kalamassery " The event aimed to provide students with effective learning strategies and study techniques to enhance their mastery of physics concepts.

On 14/07/2023  department of physics organized  the live broadcast of the launch of Chandrayaan 3 via television. The launch was a highly anticipated event, representing India's continued endeavors in space exploration and lunar research.

Dr. Ajith Thomas brought physics principles to life through captivating experimental demonstrations, revealing the hidden beauty and fundamental concepts behind the laws that govern our universe. Participants were engaged and enlightened as they uncovered the intricacies of physics in an interactive session led by a knowledgeable resource person.

On 13/06/2023, the Department of Physics organized a programme titled Mastering Excel aimed at providing students from the Department of Physics with valuable tips and tricks for using Microsoft Excel software effectively.

A three-day Summer Robotics Workshop for school students held from May 15th to 17th, 2023. The workshop aimed to deliver hands-on training in Arduino microcontroller boards, impart coding skills, and empower students to undertake their project work. Furthermore, it sought to inspire participants to consider a career in Robotics

The Student Solar Ambassador workshop to train students and sensitize them towards solar energy was organized at Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha on 2nd October 2019. A prominent environmentalist Dr. Shaju Thomas inaugurated the workshop. During the inaugural ceremony, all the participants took a pledge of Non-Violence towards the Environment.
