The IGNOU study centre was established at NIRMALA COLLEGE MUVATTUPUZHA in the year 2009, and since then the centre has been conducting various U.G, P.G and Diploma programmes. courses are detailed below :-

BACHELORS PREPARATORY PROGRAMME (IGNOU offers golden chance to ordinary people who have completed 18 years of age, but have not undergone any regular course of studies.)

All these courses are being conducted in such a way that the timing is very convenient for the regular students as well as for employees. This centre was upgraded to an Examination centre of IGNOU in December 2015. In December 2015 the students enrolled for examination in this centre was 984. In 2017 June the enrolment rose to  3190. Admissions are conducted in two regular sessions –in July and January. Examinations are conducted in two sessions per year—in June and December.
