Rev. Dr. George Punnakkottil, Bishop of Kothamangalam. This programme is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and is affiliated to M.G. University, Kottayam. The BCA programme started in the Academic Year 2003-04 with a batch strength of 60 students.

The BCA programme started in the Academic Year 2003-04 with a batch strength of 60 students. At present BCA has a strength of 70 students.
In the academic year 2014-15, MCA (Lateral), a Two Year Programme with batch strength of 60 students commenced. The 3 Year MCA Programme with the strength of 60 students got converted to 2 Year Programme in the academic year 2020-21 resulting in a total strength of 120 students in the MCA Regular programme.
By the year 2020, 16 MCA Batches, 15 BCA batches and 5 MCA (Lateral) batches passed out with flying colours.
The faculty blends superbly the experience and expertise of luminaries with the drive, dynamism and innovation of youngsters, the depth and width of knowledge of academicians and the practical wisdom of professional managers.

Though instituted primarily to satisfy the educational needs of the Christian community, its portals are ever open to all and it strives to cater to the needs of everyone, irrespective of caste and creed.
Department Placement Cell keeps constant rapport with IT companies of Technopark Thiruvananthapuram and Infopark Kochi. They organize Campus drives every year for the MCA and BCA students.
Techknow, Annual International Lecture Series, by eminent Industry Experts, give insight into application level, industry oriented topics.
MoUs with IT Companies and Institutions provide Workshops and Internships, Corporate Trainings, Placements and Industrial visits to our students. These, in turn, provide valuable inputs to the teaching/training methodology as well.
As per MoUs, students get Workshops and Internship opportunities from IT firms. Recent workshops were on DJANGO, Block Chain and SAP ABAP
Students pursue certificate courses from Coursera, edX, SWAYAM, NPTEL, e-PG Pathshala and N-LIST project
Systematic preplacement training begins from 1st semester. It covers Aptitude and Technical training, HR, GD and Resume preparation. These sessions play a key role in our remarkable placement statistics.
Annual Industry Visits provide students with an insight into the real working environment and workstations, giving a look and feel of the IT industry. The visit includes Corporate Presentations, Faculty Walk and Q&A sessions with highly experienced personnel.
