“Mother Tongue and Re-imagination of the Nation”:-Two-Day Professional Development Programme

In association with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam , the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha is organizing a Two-Day Professional Development Programme on “ Mother Tongue and Re-imagination of the Nation” on 19 to 20, December 2022 . The suggestion made by National Educational Policy(NEP) on ‘Teaching in Mother Tongue ’ will be evaluated during the programme. Dr. K.K. Shine, Chairperson of the National Council for Teacher Education (Southern Regional Committee) New Delhi will inaugurate the programme. Dr. V. Vijayakumar (Renowned Writer & Rtd. Associate Professor in Physics, Victoria College, Palakkad) will be the Keynote Speaker. The different sessions of the FDP will be led by renowned educationalists of Kerala such as Dr. R. V. G. Menon, Prof. Dr. V.P. Markose(Former HOD, Dept. of Malayalam U. C. College, Aluva), Dr. P. K. Thilak , (Writer and Former Faculty member, SCERT) and Roopima S. (State Convenor for University students, Malayalam AIkyavedi). Prof. Dr. Baburaj P. T ., Director, College Development Council, Mahatma Gandhi University will be the keynote speaker in the valedictory function.
