The Department is an approved Research Centre in Statistics under the Mahatma Gandhi University. 5 research scholars are doing Ph.D on part timebasis. Following are the details.

PhD Awarded

Dr.Gijo E.V was awarded Ph.D. (2014) from M.G.University on his thesis entitled “Business process improvement in Indian industries through statistical techniques” Dr. Gijo E.V was our prominent alumnus, who completed his M.Sc. course during the year 1993-95. After his M.Sc. degree he joined in the ISI, Calcutta for M.Tech. He has been serving as the Associate professor ISI Bangalore. His thesis was supervised by Dr.JohnyScaria.

    Ph. D. Thesis submitted

Department is pleased to announce that Mr.Biju Thomas, Asst. Professor, SreeSankaraCollege, Kalady submitted his Ph. D thesis to M.G.University under the title ‘Concomitants of order statistics from Generalized Morgenstern and Cambani’s Families’. His research work was supervised by Dr.JohnyScaria.
